- P.A.S.T. TEAMS is a 501 (c) (3), nonprofit, medical organization that provides the support funds that are needed for the P.A.S.T. pro bono retired player medical services , diagnostic, and education programs. About the program
- The 501 ( c) (3) also provides funding and facilitates hands on education, information programs for high schools, colleges and other athletic groups and their families. Programs provide a real world look andsports and medical and behavioral health issues associated with sports. These programs are conducted by former professional NFL, NBA and MLB players that have successfully dealt with issues such as Concussions , addiction , steroid use , chronic pain and more . Programs also feature world class medical and behavioral health specialists that are members of the P.A.S.T. medical team.
- The P.A.S.T. Trust & Endowment Fund is a charitable organization that provides the ancillary support funds that are needed for the retired athletes receiving care through the P.A.S.T. pro bono program. World class physicians, surgeons and specialist, from a wide range of medical and behavioral health disciplines, donate their time, expertise, support staff, surgical centers, diagnostic and other facilities. This enables P.A.S.T. to provide comprehensive pro bono care to retired NFL, NBA, MLB players and facilitate programs for high school & colleges and other athletic groups
- Support funding is needed for items such as: travel, lodging, medications, medical support, after care and other supplemental medical needs for the players. Funds are also used for player outreach, local and event based screening and education programs.
- The P.A.S.T. Trust & Endowment Fund is a charitable organization also provides the funding needed for the high school and college sports programs as well as community outreach screening events for the public.
- The P.A.S.T. TEAMS 501(c)(3) relies on donations from private individuals, athletes, coaches, corporations and grants.

$3 Million of Pro Bono care
provided in less than two years!
Medical services, major surgeries, behavioral health care, concussion treatment programs, cutting edge diagnostics, preventive medical programs and medical support have been donated by world-class physicians and facilities to retired NFL, NBA & MLB players in medical crisis.
The P.A.S.T. Retired Athletes Medical Group has improved the quality of life and in some cases produced lifesaving outcomes for many former athletes. P.A.S.T. has provided over $3 MILLION in treatment, procedures, diagnostics and support services. Additionally, $750,000 in cash was contributed personally by P.A.S.T. Founder and CEO William J. Focazio, M.D. These funds were used for support services (travel, medications, screenings, case workers and more).

We respectfully ask that you join them in helping P.A.S.T... The organization not only improves the quality of life for the many suffering athletes who have provided many years of enjoyment to fans, have given back to their communities but also facilitates preventive programs and education for high school, college athletes and various athletic groups..
Conditional donations can also be made to be used for specific groups or programs such as the youth sports education programs, player driven community screenings or for special groups of players such as NFL.
